Ad Idem Consulting Limited, Amsterdam, seeks a senior Finance Business Partner to drive financial strategy for Sourcing, Category Management and Own Brand. You will partner with the Chief Product Officer and CFO, owning budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning and performance reviews across a complex international organisation.
The role requires 10+ years in FP&A or related senior finance roles, strong collaboration with senior leadership, and fluency in English (Dutch a plus).

This senior, highly visible role sits at the centre of the organisation’s Sourcing, Category Management and Own Brand business. As Finance Business Partner, you will be the key finance partner to the Chief Product Officer, reporting directly to the CFO and sitting on the Finance Leadership Team. You will take ownership of the financial agenda for Sourcing, Category Management and the Own Brand business, providing insight and challenge across sourcing performance, category profitability and own-brand growth, coordinating Monthly Performance Reviews, leading budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning, and developing business cases for strategic investments and commercial initiatives. Rather than simply reporting the numbers, you will challenge the business, identify opportunities and actively shape strategic decision-making across a complex international organisation.
The right candidate will be an experienced Finance Business Partner with at least 10 years in Finance Business Partnering, FP&A or a comparable senior finance role. Significant experience partnering with senior leadership, ideally within commercial, sourcing, procurement or category management functions, is essential, along with a strong track record of driving profitable growth and margin improvement. Experience with product, portfolio or own-brand/private-label economics is a strong advantage, as is fluency in English (Dutch is a plus) and comfort operating within an international, matrix organisation.
