Job summary

Hitachi, Ltd. is seeking a Senior Service Engineer to deliver high-quality service solutions across installed systems and equipment. You will combine advanced technical expertise with a strong customer focus to ensure safe, reliable operation and superior customer satisfaction.

You will operate with autonomy, support complex service activities, and serve as the technical reference for customers, colleagues, and cross-functional teams while traveling to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

5–10 years of hands-on field service experience in industrial environments.
Experience with commissioning, troubleshooting, and lifecycle service activities.
Ability to travel frequently and work on customer sites.
Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.
Strong customer-facing experience and independent on-site work.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs on complex systems and equipment.
Diagnose root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure activities comply with technical standards, quality requirements, and safety regulations.
Act as a trusted technical interface for customers during service and follow-up.
Support customer training and on-site guidance as required.
Provide clear technical explanations and improvement proposals to customers.
Coordinate with service coordinators, project managers, engineering, and supply chain for efficient execution.
Maintain strong customer relationships and high satisfaction.
