Job summary

People in Science is seeking a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to lead on-site installation and commissioning of new packaging and labelling lines at a pharmaceutical site. You will work with project managers, validation teams and external vendors in a tightly regulated environment.

The role focuses on FAT/SAT testing, electrical verification and documentation, with independent planning and execution of activities within CAPEX projects. English fluency is required; Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• A strong background in electrical engineering with an engineering degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Approximately seven years of relevant engineering experience with project focus.
• Experience in a GxP-regulated environment, preferably pharma/biotech.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and support testing/commissioning.
• Experience delivering CAPEX projects and stakeholder management.
• Fluent English; basic Dutch is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support design, implementation and commissioning of new packaging and labelling lines.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during FAT, SAT and commissioning.
• Conduct electrical testing, validation and verification of equipment and systems.
• Develop test protocols, conduct evaluations and prepare reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety and regulatory requirements.
• Plan and execute electrical activities within projects.
