Job summary

Panda International in the Netherlands is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to join our maintenance and engineering teams. You will deploy and support projects, ensuring high-quality asset lifecycle management on our labelling and packaging lines.

With 7+ years in operations, you will lead CAPEX projects, provide second-line shopfloor support, and collaborate across functions. Fluent English required; basic Dutch preferred; occasional outside-office hours may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, science, or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant work experience, 5+ years in operations/manufacturing.
• In-depth electrical knowledge.
• Experience in CAPEX project management.
• Analytical troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Direct experience with regulated environment (GMP, OSHA, EPA).
• Willing to occasionally work outside office hours.
• Fluency in English; basic Dutch skills preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deploy new products and upgrades of systems and new equipment within labelling and packaging lines.
• Assure a high quality deployment with asset lifecycle in mind.
• Be the electrical expert for maintenance and engineering teams as well as project teams.
• Provide second line support to shopfloor technicians for complex mechatronics problems.
• Structurally investigate complex problems relating to process or equipment and assist with recommendations and solutions.
• Independently plan and execute all maintenance and engineering tasks in your assigned projects.
• Write test protocols, perform technical evaluations, and submit technical assessment reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors (e.g. Equipment Engineering, Automation, Digital, Validation, QA, Supply Chain, Manufacturing).
