Job summary

DPS Group Global is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer for CAPEX projects in a manufacturing setting, focusing on labelling and packaging line expansions. You will join expansion activities through 2028, providing electrical expertise and technical problem solving.

You will support maintenance, engineering, and project teams, write tests, and collaborate with vendors to ensure high-quality deployments and lifecycle integrity across complex equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in the field of engineering, science or related technological field of equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 7+ years of relevant work experience with 5+ years in operations / manufacturing environment.
• In depth electrical knowledge.
• Experience in project management techniques, preferably in CAPEX projects
• Analytical troubleshooting experience preferred
• Direct experience with regulated environment (GMP, OSHA, EPA).
• Willing to occasionally work outside office hours.
• Fluency in English, both in oral and written communication, Basic Dutch skills preferred
• Strong Interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• As part of project teams, deploy new products and upgrades of systems as well as new equipment within our state-of-the-art labelling and packaging lines. This role will be part of the expansion project until min. 2028.
• Working in projects of different complexity and assuring a high quality deployment with the asset lifecycle in mind.
• Be the electrical expert for our maintenance and engineering team as well as project teams.
• Provide second line support to shopfloor technicians for complex mechatronics problems.
• Structurally investigate complex problems relating to process or equipment and assist with recommending and implementing solutions.
• Independently plan and execute all maintenance and engineering related tasks in your assigned projects.
• Write test protocols, perform technical evaluations, and submit technical assessment reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors (i.e. Equipment Engineering, Automation, Digital, Validation, QA, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, etc.).
