Job summary

Nexcess is seeking a Senior Director of Implementations to unify and scale the post-sale implementation journey across three business units. The leader will dismantle the fragmented setup, create a single, scalable organization, and establish a common methodology with measurable outcomes.

You will shape the delivery model, governance, and tooling to enable both human-led and self-service options while driving profitability and customer value.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience rebuilding or scaling a professional services/implementation organization.
• Experience in hosting, cloud infrastructure or B2B SaaS environments.
• Proven track record leading implementations for mid-market and enterprise customers.
• Experience redesigning teams, processes, and delivery models.
• Strong understanding of implementation economics and time-to-value.
• Ability to establish operational metrics and reliable reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own the post-sale journey from signed deal to go-live, including migrations.
• Dismantle current structure and rebuild a single scalable organization across units.
• Define shared implementation methodology and quality expectations.
• Redesign staffing, roles, and reporting structures as needed.
• Develop hiring, leveling, and career development strategy.
• Establish measurement and reporting for implementation performance.
• Define KPIs such as time-to-value, migration success, and first-90-day churn.
• Select and manage the tooling stack (PSA, project management, ticketing).
• Balance human-led vs self-service delivery based on economics and complexity.
• Develop standardized scoping, kickoff, migration, and go-live processes.
• Design fast sign-off processes for complex deals while managing risk.
• Collaborate with Sales, Solutions Architecture, Product, Engineering, and CS.
• Identify automation opportunities to reduce effort and improve scalability.
• Influence cross-functional teams to achieve outcomes.
• Create executive-level views of capacity, risk, and performance.
• Build a business case for a professional services revenue stream.
• Define operating model, pricing, definitions, and delivery economics.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
