Job summary

Vinted is seeking a Decision Scientist to join the central data team focused on frontend technologies for Android, iOS, and Web. You will own analyses from start to finish, translate technical questions into actionable insights, and partner with engineering and design leaders to guide architectural decisions.

In this role you’ll design experiments, monitor results, and communicate clear recommendations to stakeholders, contributing to the long-term platform strategy with evidence-based thinking.

Qualifications

• Experience in decision science, product analytics, or BI within a tech-product or platform-engineering environment.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python (or R) for large datasets; knowledge of Git and dbt is a plus.
• Deep understanding of statistical methods, A/B testing, and analytical framing; ability to structure analyses to inform decisions.

Responsibilities

• Define and track key technical and behavioural metrics to measure frontend success.
• Translate complex questions into structured insights that drive business decisions.
• Partner with engineering and design leaders during discovery to evaluate opportunities and establish baseline metrics.
• Support design, monitoring, and analysis of A/B tests to assess platform optimisations and refactoring impact.
• Collaborate with the Data Science & Analytics community to standardise tooling and scale decision-science practices.
