Job summary

Vinted is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead the Frontend Technologies domain within Marketplace. You will set the strategy, drive modernization, and oversee a large, cross-platform frontend organization to improve modularity, velocity, and user experience across Android, iOS, and Web.

You will manage four Engineering Managers and three Staff Engineers, aligning 40+ frontend teams with the Marketplace roadmap while championing design systems, accessibility, and high-quality UI.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a large engineering team and influencing without authority.
• Ability to set and drive frontend technology strategy across multiple product domains.

Responsibilities

• Pivot frontend setup for greater efficiency and modularity across Android, iOS, and Web.
• Drive technology strategy to raise the frontend engineering bar across 40+ teams.
• Lead frontend across Android, iOS, Web, and Design System teams within Marketplace.
• Oversee core tooling, libraries and frameworks and drive modernization, testing, and modularization.
• Elevate global UI quality by integrating design systems and accessibility standards.
• Maintain robust release processes, performance monitoring, and reliability.
