Job summary

Vinted is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer within the Platform unit to own backend services, tooling, and critical delivery paths. You will help drive AI-assisted engineering and elevate the end‑to‑end development lifecycle across the engineering organization.

You will contribute to robust CI/CD pipelines, improve observability, and mentor peers to adopt best practices in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing, building, and running scalable backend systems in production.
• Ability to balance quick iteration with long‑term system stability.
• Experience with AI‑assisted engineering and developer tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own technical design and delivery of backend services, tooling, and frameworks.
• Drive AI‑assisted engineering and integrate coding agents across the lifecycle.
• Accelerate developer feedback loops by improving CI/CD and cloud environments.
• Champion code quality with thorough unit, integration, and E2E testing.
• Ensure observability with monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Mentor peers and drive RFC/ADR adoption across the engineering org.
