Job summary

Bilfinger in the Netherlands seeks a Senior Compensation & Benefits Specialist to lead the development, optimization and implementation of C&B policies across the Netherlands and Belgium. You will translate international guidelines into local, compliant solutions and advise HR, Finance and senior management.

You will manage salary reviews, bonus processes and job evaluation frameworks, including Hay, while driving harmonization of employment terms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits.
• Experience in international or matrix organizations.
• Experience with strategic reward projects or organizational change programs.
• Knowledge of Hay methodology.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of Dutch employment law and CAOs.
• Strong analytical skills and data affinity.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Proactive, independent, persuasive.

Responsibilities

• Developing and shaping Compensation & Benefits policies for the Netherlands and Belgium.
• Advising HR leadership and stakeholders on complex compensation matters.
• Leading harmonization and integration initiatives for employment conditions and benefits.
• Managing the annual salary review and bonus processes.
• Developing job evaluation and grading frameworks, including Hay methodology.
• Translating international guidelines into local solutions.
• Initiating and leading strategic reward and improvement projects.
• Monitoring market developments and compensation trends.
• Collaborating with HR, Finance, Payroll, and international stakeholders.
• Coaching HR colleagues and the Shared Service Center on complex issues.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements.
