Job summary

Eye Security is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to strengthen our cloud foundations and platform reliability. You will design scalable, secure AWS infrastructure, evolve our IaC with Terraform, and own automation and observability initiatives across agents and LLM-backed services.

You will mentor engineers, translate technical trade-offs for stakeholders, and drive cost-aware, compliant deployments in a fast-growing EU-scale environment. English fluency is required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or related fields, with significant AWS experience.
• Strong expertise in AWS, Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform, GitOps, CI/CD systems, and observability.
• Experience authoring reusable Terraform modules for other teams, including versioning and release practices.
• Ability to write and maintain production code in Go, Python, or TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience building and shipping a non-trivial agent or LLM-backed workflow with real users.
• Able to discuss decisions around tools, context/state, evaluation, failure handling, autonomy, cost, and latency.
• Strong understanding of security best practices, including least-privilege design for credentialed workloads.
• Proven initiative, problem-solving, and delivery in ambiguous environments.
• Skilled at breaking down complex problems into practical solutions with impact-first thinking.
• Experience in startup/scale-up environments with fast-changing needs and collaboration across teams.
• Fluent English is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure AWS infrastructure.
• Lead Infrastructure-as-Code practices using Terraform and reusable modules.
• Create deployment patterns, identity/ACLs, and guardrails for production workloads.
• Evolve monitoring with Grafana and Sentry; enable cost attribution and semantic failure analysis.
• Establish methods to evaluate non-deterministic behavior and catch regressions pre/post deployment.
• Drive automation, CI/CD pipelines, reliability, and reducing technical debt.
• Mentor mid-level engineers and share knowledge through docs and reviews.
• Communicate trade-offs, timelines, and priorities to align with product goals.
• Balance multiple priorities in a fast-changing scale-up environment.
