Job summary

DEPT® is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join the Experience & Engineering team in the Netherlands. You will build and maintain cloud platforms, set up CI/CD pipelines, and partner with SREs to hand over operations.

You will drive automation to simplify workflows and accelerate delivery for major clients. You will lead infrastructure migrations, implement best practices, and coordinate with client teams to ensure smooth transitions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Cloud Engineer (or similar role).
• Multi-cloud platform experience (Azure, AWS and/or GCP).
• Experience with DevOps tooling for CI/CD, orchestration and monitoring (Azure DevOps, GitHub, Datadog, Cloudflare, etc.).
• Understanding of Cloud Security & Networking.
• Experience with Infra-As-Code (Terraform).
• The ability & ambition to take ownership of your projects.
• Working proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the infrastructure implementation/migration process from sprint 0 to go-live.
• Collaborate to support a smooth integration and long-term operational efficiency.
• Ensure best practices are established and deliver high quality work
• Collaborate effectively with our clients teams, including developers questions, to facilitate cross-team communication and ensure a seamless transition;
• Troubleshoot and solve technical issues that may arise during the implementation/migration.
