Job summary

GLBNXT in the Netherlands seeks a senior platform engineer to own production posture from day one, shaping deployment architecture and taking the technical anchor role for enterprise rollout. You will own CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and our Kubernetes platform, building EU-based LLM inference infrastructure and driving security and compliance.

You will operate under ISO 27001/NIS2 and collaborate with the CTO to set engineering standards while on-call and hiring future teammates.

Qualifications

• 6+ years building and operating production systems that others depend on.
• Strong cloud experience, ideally with EU-sovereign or private cloud providers.
• Proficient in Python and at least one of Go, TypeScript, or Rust.
• Hands-on experience with LLM serving infrastructure (vLLM, TGI, Triton, Ollama, or similar).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent.
• Security-first mindset; experience with ISO 27001, SOC 2, or similar.
• Comfortable being on-call and taking production responsibility early.

Responsibilities

• Own CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and our Kubernetes platform.
• Build and operate LLM inference infrastructure on EU-sovereign cloud providers.
• Harden the stack for audits and regulatory compliance.
• Set up and own observability stack: Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, logs.
• Co-author architectural decisions with lead developer and CTO.
• Respond to security questionnaires and vendor assessments.
• Carry the on-call pager from week four, with fair rotation.
• Help hire the engineers who will join the team.
