Job summary

Horizon3.ai seeks a motivated Enterprise Technical Support Engineer (Mid to Senior) with 5+ years of hands-on experience to diagnose and resolve complex cloud, Linux, and security issues for enterprise customers. You will work with cross-functional teams, mentor teammates, and help optimize customer environments leveraging IaC and containerized apps.

You will be based hybrid in Amsterdam or remote across the UK, France, Ireland or Spain, with equity and benefits supporting a people-first culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
• 5+ years in technical support, systems administration, or cloud operations in enterprise environments.
• Cybersecurity background with knowledge of threat detection, encryption, and compliance (SOC 2, GDPR).
• Strong Linux administration, security hardening, and production troubleshooting.
• Hands-on Docker/containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes or similar).
• Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and IaC tooling (Terraform/Ansible/CloudFormation).
• Networking basics including TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and sniffing tools.
• Scripting in Bash/Python/PowerShell for automation.
• Experience with RBAC, SSO protocols (OAuth, SAML), and directory services.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases; basics of schema design.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support to enterprise customers via phone, email, chat, and remote sessions.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across cloud, networking, and infrastructure domains.
• Escalate and collaborate with engineering, product, and sales to resolve complex challenges.
• Assist deployment/optimization of customer environments with IaC and containerized apps.
• Maintain SLAs, monitor tickets, and drive process improvements.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to internal training resources.
• Stay current with emerging technologies to enhance support capabilities.
