NAGICO Insurances seeks a Claims Manager to lead a team of claims officers and adjusters across St. Maarten, Saba, St. Eustatius and Montserrat. The role combines leadership with technical oversight to settle claims fairly and accurately, while maintaining regulatory and company standards.

The position emphasizes driving continuous improvement, accuracy, and service excellence and requires strong English communications skills and the ability to work extended hours when required.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar or related role.
• Solid technical knowledge of motor, property, liability, and other insurance lines.
• Strong understanding of claims processes, systems, and insurance market regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; Dutch, French, or Spanish is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Leads and oversees the claims team to ensure timely, fair settlements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Oversees daily operations, workflows, and performance to ensure efficiency and compliance.
• Acts as final escalation point for complex or sensitive claimant issues; approves settlements.
• Monitors KPIs (turnaround, loss ratios, customer satisfaction) and submits reports for audits and reinsurance.
• Collaborates with underwriting and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
