Job summary

Post & Co is a specialist in marine liability and related insurance, based in Rotterdam. You will join a small team of claims handlers and manage international marine liability cases with direct contact to clients and specialists worldwide.

The role offers part-time or full-time options from the Rotterdam office, with opportunities for development and training, including in the UK, and potential progression to senior positions.

Qualifications

• Several years of relevant professional experience in claims handling, insurance, law, marine insurance or as a marine surveyor.
• Curiosity and ability to analyse complex situations are important.
• Ability to communicate confidently with different stakeholders and take ownership of work.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied portfolio of often complex marine claims arising from contractual and/or legal liabilities.
• Communicate internationally with clients, insurance brokers, P&I Clubs, insurers, lawyers, surveyors and other parties involved in a claim.
• Understand events, assess situations and guide the claim from start to finish with sound judgement.
