Job summary

Cover Genius is seeking a senior business development leader to originate, develop, and close partnerships with banks, neobanks, and fintechs across EMEA. You will leverage Cover Genius capabilities to land embedded insurance opportunities with financial services firms, driving strategic growth and multi-line deals.

You will build a strong network among senior decision-makers, execute our go-to-market plans, and lead cross-functional teams to tailor propositions to banking-specific value,

Qualifications

• 10+ years commercial business development/partnerships in banking/fintech/financial services.
• Proven revenue targets achievement in complex B2B2C sales cycles.
• Pipeline generation with measurable KPIs across deals.
• Embedded fintech/bancassurance partnerships desirable.
• Strong network in European banking/neobank/fintech ecosystems.
• Additional languages desirable.
• Understanding of digital banking roadmaps, API integrations, and engagement metrics.
• Excellent communication; able to present, negotiate, influence at C-level.
• Experience with regulated industry sales processes and compliance.
• Bachelor’s in a relevant field; postgraduate/financial services qualifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Originating, developing, and closing new business across EMEA banking and fintech partners.
• Identify and engage decision makers at banks, neobanks, and fintech platforms.
• Execute go-to-market strategy to position contextual protection as a revenue driver.
• Grow the Cover Genius brand within banking and fintech ecosystems through events and networking.
• Lead cross-functional deal teams to tailor pitches to banking value propositions.
