Job summary

Wlgroup is seeking a chief technician to join the integrated team on-site in Brunssum. You will handle second-line support, take ownership of incidents, and guide issues through to resolution within a service-managed environment.

You will install, monitor, and maintain components of supported services, coordinate outages, and contribute to daily planning and reporting while collaborating with staff and contractors in a disciplined, classified setting.

Qualifications

• Second-line support experience in a service-managed environment with a ticketing system and change process.
• Analytical mindset required to diagnose unusual, complex faults.
• Comfort working in an integrated team of staff and contractors in classified environments.

Responsibilities

• Respond to, categorize, document and resolve incidents, service requests, changes and information requests via the ticketing toolset.
• Install, maintain and monitor components of supported services, including during operations, missions and exercises.
• Escalate to third line when appropriate and assist in troubleshooting escalations.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for supported applications for users and communities of interest.
