Arvato in Lelystad is looking for a proactive Security Coordinator to help build and develop the security organization for our new 80,000 m² location. The role spans security organization, systems, compliance and risk management, including CCTV, access control and audits.

You will coordinate internal and external stakeholders, identify risks and drive practical improvements from day one, with part-time or full-time options and a competitive salary range.

Qualifications

• HB0 level in Safety & Security Management or similar field.
• Experience in security, facility or operational roles is a plus.
• Experience with audits, compliance and security processes is a strong plus.
• Experience with security systems and infrastructure is beneficial.

Are you ready to take responsibility for security in a new operation? As a Security Coordinator in Lelystad, you’ll play an important role in building and developing the security organization at our new 80,000 m² Tech location.

We are open to both part-time and full-time candidates. From 24 hours per week, we are happy to explore the possibilities with you if your profile matches the role. For candidates available full-time, there may also be an opportunity to combine this role with additional responsibilities in Quality.

You’ll work across security processes, systems, compliance and risk management, making sure security requirements are translated into practical solutions. You’ll coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, identify potential risks and contribute to a safe, secure and compliant operation from day one.

This is a role for someone who enjoys taking ownership, connecting people and processes, and continuously looking for ways to improve.

YOUR ROLE

As a Security Coordinator, you help ensure that security is embedded in our daily operation. You’ll work across three key areas: security organization, systems & technology, and compliance.

Your responsibilities include:

• Coordinating operational security activities and ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements;
• Coordinating security systems such as CCTV, detection and alarm systems, and access control;
• Translating operational requirements into clear processes, procedures and administration;
• Supporting and coordinating audits and helping to maintain and improve security standards;
• Identifying risks through risk assessments and reporting findings and recommendations to the Security Manager and relevant stakeholders;
• Coordinating, planning and managing external security suppliers;
• Supporting the implementation of the security strategy within the operation;
• Contributing to business continuity and crisis management activities;
• Maintaining and supporting relevant security certifications, including TAPA-A;
• Working closely with internal departments, customers, suppliers and other external stakeholders to ensure a consistent approach to security.

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for a proactive and organized Security Coordinator who combines a practical approach with strong analytical and communication skills.

• HBO working and thinking level, preferably in Safety & Security Management, Facility Management, Business Administration or a similar field;
• Relevant experience in a security, facility or operational role is a plus;
• Experience or affinity with security systems and infrastructure;
• Experience with audits, compliance and security processes is a strong plus;
• Able to identify risks, investigate issues and translate findings into practical improvements;
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with different stakeholders;
• Able to work independently while also being a strong team player;
• Good English skills, both written and spoken, Dutch is a plus;
• Available for a minimum of 24 hours per week; both part-time and full-time availability are welcome;
• Comfortable working in a dynamic logistics environment;
• Car and driving license.
