Job summary

JBT Marel is seeking a Scrum Master for Controls Engineering in Boxmeer. You will facilitate two PLC & HMI development teams working at the intersection of software and hardware engineering, partnering with the Product Owner to ensure high performance and predictable delivery.

You will coach teams in Scrum and Kanban, drive Agile process improvements, and help scale Agile practices across the organization, creating an environment of collaboration and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Proven Scrum Master experience.
• Experience with software development teams.
• Experience in multidisciplinary machine software and hardware environment is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong facilitation, mentoring, and coaching abilities.
• Solid organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and expectation management skills.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal; Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead two PLC & HMI development teams in a hybrid environment.
• Partner with Product Owner to drive high performance and predictable delivery.
• Facilitate Scrum and Kanban events and monitor with Agile metrics.
• Coach teams in Scrum and Kanban practices and reduce dependency on the Scrum Master role.
• Collaborate with Engineering Managers on performance and objectives.
• Promote a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability.
