Job description

Are you a Scrum Master who thrives in a multi-team environment, excels at facilitating Agile working methods, and can maintain an overview in a fast-growing company?

Our client in the Amsterdam region is looking for a Lead Scrum Master to optimize Agile processes and ensure efficient product development from concept to delivery. You’ll work closely with the Product Manager and development teams to facilitate Agile methodologies (Scrum & Kanban), manage documentation, oversee Jira boards, plan sprints, and coordinate meetings.

Your role

• Act as a servant leader and coach for 3 Agile teams, promoting best practices
• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Manage and update Jira boards to ensure transparency and effective workflow
• Collaborate with the Product Manager to maintain a well-defined backlog
• Remove impediments and blockers to enhance team productivity
• Coordinate cross-team communication to align efforts and optimize delivery
• Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile practices and continuous improvement

Your profile

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master (at least 3 years)
• Strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies (Scrum & Kanban)
• Proficiency in Jira and other Agile project management tools
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills; EQ is an important aspect here!
• Ability to work effectively with multiple teams and manage cross-team coordination
