About the Position
Working as a Sales Officer Warranty at Huisman means you are responsible for commercial quotations, order handling and administrative support activities for our service customers.
Responsibilities
- Quote & order handling
- Expediting and invoicing
- Providing advice and solutions to customers in close collaboration with internal departments
- Analysing and assessing warranty claims, technical customer enquiries and service requests, balancing both the technical and commercial impact of proposed solutions
- Generating and following up leads/prospects
- Initiating logistics activities and defining requirements
- Preparing purchase requests and ensuring proper handover of orders to Supply Chain
- Monitoring the timely delivery of purchased goods and customer orders and reporting non‑conformances to Account Management
- Providing ideas, suggestions and interpretation for improvement for customer relation management
You Are
- Self‑critical with proposed solutions (see risks, pros and cons)
- Organisationally sensitive and service‑minded
- Accurate and able to maintain overview in a dynamic environment
- Able to analyse technical information and identify the root cause of equipment issues, defects or warranty claims in close collaboration with Engineering, Service and Supply Chain teams
You Have
- Minimum MBO 4 education level, combined with HBO working and thinking level
- Affinity with service components, administration and sales support activities
- The ability to adapt quickly to new requirements and know how to prioritise
- Strong analytical thinking and accuracy
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to interpret technical documentation and translate findings into practical customer‑focused solutions
Some Practical Things We Need You To Have
- Active EU passport or valid work permit for the Netherlands
- Good command of Dutch and English, written and spoken
- Availability for at least 32 hours per week, preferably full‑time (40 hours)
