Job summary

About the Position

Working as a Sales Officer Warranty at Huisman means you are responsible for commercial quotations, order handling and administrative support activities for our service customers.

Responsibilities

• Quote & order handling
• Expediting and invoicing
• Providing advice and solutions to customers in close collaboration with internal departments
• Analysing and assessing warranty claims, technical customer enquiries and service requests, balancing both the technical and commercial impact of proposed solutions
• Generating and following up leads/prospects
• Initiating logistics activities and defining requirements
• Preparing purchase requests and ensuring proper handover of orders to Supply Chain
• Monitoring the timely delivery of purchased goods and customer orders and reporting non‑conformances to Account Management
• Providing ideas, suggestions and interpretation for improvement for customer relation management

You Are

• Self‑critical with proposed solutions (see risks, pros and cons)
• Organisationally sensitive and service‑minded
• Accurate and able to maintain overview in a dynamic environment
• Able to analyse technical information and identify the root cause of equipment issues, defects or warranty claims in close collaboration with Engineering, Service and Supply Chain teams

You Have

• Minimum MBO 4 education level, combined with HBO working and thinking level
• Affinity with service components, administration and sales support activities
• The ability to adapt quickly to new requirements and know how to prioritise
• Strong analytical thinking and accuracy
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to interpret technical documentation and translate findings into practical customer‑focused solutions
