Job summary

Lumanity, via PHARMO Institute, seeks a Senior Director, Real-World Evidence to drive scientific rigour and commercial growth in Europe and the USA. You will lead high-impact client engagements, build a portable book of business, and mentor a growing RWE team while shaping the practice's strategic direction.

You will engage senior pharma stakeholders as a scientific authority and trusted commercial partner, overseeing proposals, budgets, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver impactful

Qualifications

• PhD (or equivalent) in life sciences, epidemiology, health economics, or a related field; MSc considered with an exceptional commercial track record
• 15+ years in life sciences and/or RWE consulting at Senior Director level or equivalent
• Proven track record building and scaling high-performing RWE or HEOR teams of 10+ people, with P&L accountability

Responsibilities

• Business Development & Commercial Growth: Drive and close new business to defined annual sales and pipeline targets; Develop pipeline through client outreach and conference presence; Lead proposal development and sales collateral; Manage opportunities in CRM and coordinate contracting.
• Project Delivery & Scientific Leadership: Lead complex RWE project workstreams, deliver high-quality outputs on time and budget; Apply innovative methodologies in data landscaping and evidence planning; Manage project financials end-to-end.
• Thought Leadership & Team Development: Produce white papers, abstracts, posters, manuscripts; Mentor RWE team; Expand analytical capabilities through partnerships.
