Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company in the Netherlands, seeks a Director of Project Management for Rare Disease & Pediatrics. You will provide strategic and operational leadership across complex clinical studies, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, vendors, and external partners.

You will drive delivery, risk management, quality oversight, and client relationships, ensuring timelines, budgets, and regulatory expectations are met.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree in life sciences; master's preferred.
• Proven experience leading large clinical programs.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary client contact for complex studies across vendors and teams.
• Develop and execute strategies to identify and mitigate operational risks.
• Lead design and tracking of project plans per SOPs, timelines, and budgets.
• Oversee resolution of escalated issues and provide direction in complex situations.
• Ensure TMF plans and indexes are audit-ready and delivered on time.
• Lead quality control and risk assurance to meet regulatory and client requirements.
• Build strong client relationships through proactive communication.
• Develop and maintain strategic client documentation (charters, rate cards, etc.).
• Identify process improvements to improve delivery and performance.
• Design delivery strategies for large-scale bid defenses and BD activities.
• Provide line management and talent development for PM staff.
