Job summary

The Usual Rotterdam is seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to take ownership of the hotel's performance and future growth. You will lead the management team to drive revenue, guest experience and operational excellence across Rooms, F&B and events, while upholding The Usual's values and culture.

You will shape the hotel’s strategy, collaborate with central commercial teams, and build relationships with local partners to elevate the Rotterdam destination for guests and locals alike.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a General Manager or Hotel Manager with full P&L responsibility.
• Track record of growing revenue, improving profitability and leading multi‑department teams.
• Fluency in English; Dutch is strongly preferred.
• Legally allowed to work in the Netherlands.
• Experience with Meetings & Events, F&B, and local market development.

Responsibilities

• Own the hotel's P&L and overall financial performance.
• Lead the hotel management team and ensure operational excellence.
• Collaborate with central Sales, Revenue Management and Marketing.
• Develop Meetings & Events offering and drive new business.
• Build relationships with corporate clients and local partners.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and business planning.
• Drive sustainability and responsible hospitality.
