Job summary

BYD Europe is seeking a dynamic sales professional to expand our renewable energy distribution network. The role focuses on building strong distributor relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and training partners on energy storage products and inverter technology.

You will work closely with marketing and internal teams to execute campaigns, while adhering to corporate policies and global directives.

Qualifications

• Strong network in renewable energy, especially residential energy storage and small-scale C&I storage.
• Strong technical knowledge of energy storage and inverter products.
• Proactive, self-motivated and results-driven.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in sales and business development in solar industry.
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with distributors and strategic partners.
• Collect and analyze market information to identify growth opportunities.
• Train distributor and installer teams on products and technical knowledge.
• Assist distributors in identifying and closing sales opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align strategies and improve products.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop targeted campaigns and activities.
• Follow headquarters’ directives and support company channel sales policies across borders.
