Job summary

BYD Europe is seeking a skilled channel manager to drive the German residential energy storage market by building and managing a robust distributor network. You will analyze markets and competitors, develop cross-industry channel insights, and expand installer networks across Germany.

You will conduct market research, study distributor channel models, manage full-cycle distributor relations, and travel frequently within Germany and neighboring European countries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• 3+ years of overseas channel management experience in energy storage, PV, or related fields; German market experience preferred.
• Fluent in English and German (Chinese proficiency a plus).
• Willingness to travel frequently (within Germany and neighboring European countries).
• Strong information integration and analytical skills; proactive in cross-disciplinary learning.

Responsibilities

• Market & Competitor Research – Conduct in-depth research on competitors’ channel models, operational strategies, rebate policies, pricing systems in Germany; deliver regular analysis reports.
• Cross-Industry Channel Study – Research channel models in related industries (PV, heat pumps, smart home) within Germany; extract best practices for adaptation.
• Full-Cycle Distributor Management – Visit distributors regularly to understand their operations and sales models; assist in solving business issues and driving performance.
• Installer Network Development – Conduct weekly/monthly site visits to refine installer profiles and build a knowledge base; promote installer cooperation and training.
