Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an Engineering Tech Lead (Product Security) based in the Netherlands. You will own security across Kubernetes-based infrastructure, mentor engineers, and contribute production Go code while driving threat modeling and secure design reviews.

In this remote-first role, you’ll conduct hands-on penetration testing, triage vulnerabilities, and strengthen security across cloud-native components.

Qualifications

• Hands-on security testing across production systems.
• Experience with Kubernetes security and container isolation.
• Proven ability to review production architectures for risks.
• Experience building production Go services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on penetration testing of products and infrastructure, focusing on Kubernetes environments.
• Lead threat modeling and secure design reviews early in the development lifecycle.
• Triage and remediate vulnerabilities in code and dependencies from discovery to patch release.
• Review Kubernetes internals and security policies to strengthen defenses.
• Contribute production-grade Go code and secure engineering practices.
• Explain vulnerabilities and remediation priorities to engineers and stakeholders.
• Drive continuous security improvements across the engineering teams.
