Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking an experienced People professional to combine talent acquisition with HR operations in a fully remote SaaS environment across Europe.

You will partner with hiring managers to manage a pipeline of ~40 hires per year across Tech, Product, Data, Growth, Finance, and other functions, while owning onboarding and payroll processes via Deel. The role emphasizes automation, process improvement, and candidate/employee experience.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience in Human Resources.
• Experience in startup/scale-up environments is advantageous.
• Experience across recruitment and HR operations, or motivation to expand.
• Hands-on HR interviews and recruitment process management.
• Familiarity with Teamtailor and Deel.
• Exposure to payroll is a plus.
• Comfort with Notion, Slack, and Google Workspace.
• Curiosity about AI tools and automation.
• Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Service-oriented with focus on candidate and employee experience.
• Excellent organization and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct HR interviews assessing candidate motivation and fit.
• Partner with hiring managers across recruitment processes.
• Manage recruitment pipeline in ATS with scorecards and reporting.
• Ensure a smooth candidate experience through interviews and offers.
• Present company, culture, and growth opportunities to candidates.
• Support onboarding activities and first days/weeks.
• Improve HR touchpoints by gathering feedback and implementing improvements.
• Manage HR administration for employees in France, including contracts and statuses.
• Administer HR and payroll processes through Deel across entities.
• Monitor absences and collaborate with HR leadership on complex cases.
• Automate HR workflows and document processes.
