Job summary

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced Reservationist for a luxury private lodge. This remote role suits a detail-oriented hospitality professional with strong guest service and communication skills.

You will manage inquiries, bookings, amendments and cancellations, maintain records, and liaise with lodge teams to meet guest requirements. Remote work, monthly salary R15,000–R18,000, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Previous reservations experience in hospitality or tourism.
• Experience with reservation systems and booking platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Professional telephone manner and guest-focused approach.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage reservations from initial enquiry through to confirmation.
• Respond promptly to guest enquiries via email and telephone.
• Provide accurate information on accommodation, rates, availability and lodge offerings.
• Process bookings, amendments and cancellations efficiently.
• Maintain reservation records and update booking systems.
• Liaise with lodge teams to communicate guest requirements.
• Deliver high-quality customer service in a luxury setting.
• Assist with administrative duties related to reservations.
