Job summary

Ashland is seeking a Performance Specialties Sales Representative to drive growth across Benelux and France. The role is remote, reporting to the Sales Leader Europe. You will manage key accounts, develop new opportunities, and execute Ashland's commercial strategy while collaborating with R&D, Marketing, and Regulatory teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in specialty chemicals, strong client relationships, and fluency in English and French. Travel about half the year is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in specialty chemicals.
• Proven B2B sales experience and strong customer-facing skills.
• Fluent in English and French; Dutch language desirable.
• Willingness to travel regularly in France and Benelux (≈50%).

Responsibilities

• Manage Performance Specialties business and customer relationships across France and Benelux.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the territory.
• Deliver sales volume, revenue, and growth targets.
• Collaborate with Regional R&D, Marketing, Regulatory, and Customer Service teams.
• Provide market intelligence and support NPI initiatives.
