Job summary

Lever, Inc. on behalf of a partner company, seeks an Operations & Logistics Specialist based in the Netherlands to drive hands-on People Operations, payroll, and logistics across a fast-growing, international workforce.

The role covers contracts, onboarding, travel, events, and internal systems, with a focus on automation and scalable processes in a remote-first, distributed environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in People Operations, HR Operations, Business Operations, Finance Operations, or a comparable role.
• Strong experience managing employee lifecycle processes, contracts, documentation, HR administration, and related operational workflows.
• Hands-on experience with payroll coordination, contractor payments, expense management, and financial administration.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with a strong commitment to accuracy and timely execution.
• Experience coordinating travel, events, offsites, vendors, and broader company logistics.
• Ability to handle confidential employee, payroll, and financial information with professionalism and discretion.
• Strong ownership mindset, with the ability to independently manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working with employees, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Process-oriented and proactive, with a demonstrated ability to identify inefficiencies and implement practical improvements.
• Comfortable working with HRIS, payroll, expense management, e-signature, and other business administration platforms.
• Experience using automation and workflow tools to reduce manual processes and improve operational accuracy.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing, and internationally distributed environment.
• Experience in a startup, scale-up, agency, or remote-first organization is a plus.
• Experience supporting operations across multiple countries or regions is advantageous.
• Basic understanding of employment compliance and payroll requirements across different markets is desirable.
• Strong adaptability, problem-solving skills, and the ability to operate effectively with a high degree of autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end employee lifecycle operations including contracts, onboarding, and offboarding.
• Prepare and manage offer letters, contracts, addendums and other documentation.
• Coordinate monthly payroll processes and contractor invoices.
• Manage business travel arrangements and itineraries.
• Plan and coordinate company events, offsites, logistics.
• Maintain records of employee information, leave, travel, expenses, contracts, and operational documentation.
• Serve as a point of contact for HR and operational questions.
• Manage statements of work and related documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and processes.
• Build and maintain workflow automations to reduce manual tasks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to keep operations coordinated.
