Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an Engineering Manager for Automation Intelligence in the Netherlands. The role leads an engineering team to deliver a detection platform, APIs, and AI-native development practices, from beta to GA and commercial launch.

You will drive reliability, quality, and independent delivery within a remote, global team. You will guide classification, context, confidence, and reason codes while partnering with product and customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of engineering management experience.
• Eight+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong domain expertise in bot detection, web security, or high-volume API services.
• Quality-driven engineering with measurement-driven processes.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools and agent workflows.
• Ability to collaborate with product managers and customer-facing teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own the engineering roadmap from beta to GA and commercial launch.
• Define service reliability targets (SLOs) and performance metrics.
• Establish detection quality frameworks with datasets and regression suites.
• Guide AI agent detection, classification, and API design.
• Lead staged rollouts with feature flags and customer feedback loops.
• Recruit and develop a small team of senior engineers.
• Establish coding standards, review processes, and documentation practices.
• Collaborate with adjacent teams to reduce cross-team dependencies.
• Drive AI-native engineering practices and tooling.
