Job summary

Jobgether, based in the Netherlands, seeks a Senior Software Quality Engineer to own software quality strategy across a fast-moving cloud platform. You will lead scalable automated testing across backend and UI, integrate tests into CI/CD, and influence architecture with a focus on reliability and AI-assisted workflows.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in quality assurance, testing, or automation with senior exposure
• Proficient in Go, Python, or JavaScript for automation
• Experience designing and owning test strategies for backend and UI
• Strong CI/CD understanding and integrating tests into pipelines
• Regular use of AI-powered tools to support QA activities
• Kubernetes or distributed system familiarity and willingness to learn

Responsibilities

• Lead scalable automated testing frameworks for backend and UI
• Own end-to-end test strategy across services and features
• Collaborate with engineering/product teams to raise quality standards
• Provide guidance on testability during architecture/design reviews
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
• Perform exploratory testing to catch edge cases and regressions
• Apply AI-assisted workflows to review PRs and test plans
• Investigate complex issues via root-cause analysis with engineers
• Manage QA initiatives across multiple projects in a dynamic environment
• Promote continuous improvement in test automation and workflows
• Contribute to testing approaches for Kubernetes-based infrastructure
