Job summary

MongoDB is seeking an Engagement Manager to lead Professional Services sales, scope opportunities, and drive adoption across Sales, PS, and Customer Success in a cross-functional team. This role is remote in Germany or Amsterdam, with travel as needed.

You will manage the PS pipeline, articulate business value, and help customers transform their data architectures using MongoDB technologies. Fluency in English is required, with German/Dutch a plus.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or engineering.
• 5+ years selling professional services in enterprise software.
• Experience as architect/consultant/project manager.
• Quota-bearing PS bookings experience.
• Knowledge of cloud and on-prem architectures.
• Fluency in English required; German/Dutch a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand customers' portfolio of applications and priorities to design digital transformation approaches involving MongoDB technologies.
• Translate use-cases, pains, and needs into scoped projects and statements of work.
• Partner with Sales, PS, and Customer Success to develop account strategies and plans for adoption, growth, and utilization of MongoDB.
• Own deals from inception to closure and manage PS pipeline for bookings and revenue forecasts.
• Articulate the business value of professional services and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with practice to develop repeatable assets (estimates, proposals, SOWs, templates, tools, case studies).
• Coordinate with delivery team to ensure successful project delivery.
• Mentor team members and share best practices.
• Travel for key engagements and team offsites.
