Job summary

Emerson is seeking an Outside Sales Engineer in the Netherlands (EDE, Gelderland) with a hybrid work setup. You will drive sales of FLMC product lines, manage key accounts, and collaborate with the Benelux Sales Director to maximize regional growth.

You will identify market needs, visit customers, negotiate contracts, and continuously develop product knowledge to strengthen Emerson’s regional presence.

Qualifications

• Engineering bachelor degree or comparable technical education.
• Minimum 3 years sales experience in Industrial and Factory Automation.
• Proficient use in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and Outlook.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Willing to travel in the region and hold a clean driving license.

Responsibilities

• Identify market requirements and develop growth strategies for the territory.
• Direct activities to promote sales and support products and solutions in the region.
• Actively visit existing customers to promote product lines and services.
• Seek new opportunities to sell to new customers and industries.
• Negotiate with customers within delegated authority, including discounts and terms.
• Drive sales and proposal strategies with the sales support organization.
• Maintain a project opportunity list in the associated tools.
• Travel within the region to engage customers and close opportunities.
