Job summary

Damen is seeking an Account Manager (Regional Service Manager) for Asia, based in the Netherlands. You will oversee all service activities for the Asia region, collaborate with Sales, and drive service performance to support vessel sales.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of 5 years managing complex accounts, strong English, and a solid mix of commercial and technical expertise. This role offers an international team, growth opportunities, and a hands-on culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marof, Shipbuilding or Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration with relevant technical experience.
• At least 5 years of experience handling complex accounts.
• English mastery and strong commercial/technical understanding.

Responsibilities

• Business development: attract new clients and develop propositions to grow the client base.
• Act as single point of contact for customers and ensure service excellence.
• Consult with clients on technical, functional and other specifications.
• Manage complex relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Gather market information to prepare and implement a regional business plan.
• Monitor project progress with the operation team and identify deviations.
