Job summary

MEININGER Hotels in Amsterdam Amstel is seeking a Reception Supervisor to lead the reception team and ensure guests have a memorable stay. The role is part-time and requires experience in hospitality and strong customer service skills.

You will work with the Front Office team to maintain service quality and guest satisfaction. You will supervise shifts, coordinate with the Assistant Hotel Manager, and handle administrative tasks like invoicing and hour registration.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hospitality experience in a supervisory or frontline role.
• Outgoing personality with ability to lead a busy reception.
• Strong customer focus and guest service orientation.
• Team guidance and development abilities.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.

YOUR TASKS

• You are in charge of the smooth operations of the reception team and provide great customer service to our guests
• You take care of operational and administrative tasks: invoicing, hour registration, online reputation management, quality checks etc.
• You act as a great host and create a memorable stay for our guests
• You are responsible for maintaining MEININGER quality standards in your area
• You are leading the front-of-house team together with your Assistant Hotel Manager
• You enjoy a diverse working environment and are flexible to work weekdays, weekends, day-, evening- and night shifts

YOUR PROFILE

• You are a reception supervisor or a receptionist with 2+ years of experience in hospitality who is ready to take on a new exciting challenge
• You possess an outgoing personality and enjoy working in a bustling, dynamic environment performing a variety of tasks
• You are a people person, you like helping others and creating unforgettable experiences for our guests
• You enjoy working in a team, guiding and developing your team members
• You have good knowledge of a front office system (e.g. ASSD, Fidelio, SIHOT)
• You are fluent in English (min. B1-B2 level) and any other languages are an advantage
