Job summary

Robin Radar Systems is seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Specialist to own the quality, reliability, and regulatory compliance of our radar systems. You will collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Procurement and Service to develop quality plans and prevent defects before production handover.

You will lead QMS governance, drive continuous improvement using 8D, DMAIC, 5 Whys and FMEA, oversee testing and validation, and ensure supplier quality through audits and material acceptance.

Qualifications

• University degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in quality assurance, auditing, or quality control within manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and QMS governance.
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification preferred.
• Proficient with quality management systems and data analysis tools for data-driven decisions.
• Proven project management skills and structured analytical thinking in complex environments.
• Fluent English; basic Dutch is an asset.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills; willing to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Quality planning and QMS governance across operations.
• Lead cross‑departmental and supplier quality improvement initiatives.
• Oversee testing, validation and data integrity for radar systems.
• Evaluate drawings, specs, and documentation for supplier releases.
• Manage supplier audits and material acceptance.
• Develop metrics to track defects, failures, and product maturity.
