Job summary

QuantWare is seeking a Director of Systems Integration to lead, build, and scale the engineering organization responsible for deploying our technology with top-tier global partners. You will own major quantum hardware and system integration programs, managing system engineering teams and serving as the executive engineering interface to strategic enterprise partners.

Qualifications

• Masters or PhD in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Microelectronics or Computer Engineering.
• 10+ years of technical leadership experience in complex hardware environments.
• Customer-facing delivery of multi-disciplinary projects involving high-capital equipment.
• Deep domain expertise in HPC systems integration, packaging or related areas.
• Exceptional cross-functional communicator to align business goals with engineering constraints.
• Proactive, detail-oriented leader in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale system engineering teams across multiple disciplines.
• Own end-to-end delivery of complex hardware integration projects with partners.
• Build and maintain relationships with senior engineering leadership at customers/partners.
• Identify and de-risk technical, timeline and cost mismatches with third-party suppliers.
• Establish and evolve standardized engagement frameworks and processes for projects.
• Collaborate with Business Development to assess feasibility and resource plans.
