Job summary

QuantWare is seeking a Senior Quantum Measurement and Calibration Engineer to drive experimental characterization, diagnostic protocol development, and performance optimization of our next-generation quantum processors.

You will lead advanced measurement campaigns, design and execute experiments, and work closely with QPU design, measurement and software engineers to push the edge of qubit performance in a collaborative, hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on cryogenic measurement experience in superconducting quantum processors
• Deep understanding of cQED and superconducting device behavior
• Proficiency in Python and data analysis for experiments

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine measurement protocols to improve gate/readout fidelities and diagnostics tooling
• Design and execute experiments to validate design elements and layout optimisations
• Data-driven analysis of measurement datasets and reporting to drive device design upgrades
• Own measurement campaigns from hypothesis through cooldown, data acquisition, analysis and reporting
