Job summary

Barrington James is seeking a Technical Pre-Sales professional to join a growing European commercial team. You will translate complex quantum technologies for technical and non-technical stakeholders and support the full customer journey from initial engagement to technical discussions and ongoing support.

The ideal candidate has a strong technical background in quantum computing, 5+ years in a customer-facing role, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

Master's or PhD in Quantum Computing or related field.
5+ years in a customer-facing technical role.
Strong understanding of quantum computing fundamentals.

Responsibilities

Communicate the value and potential of advanced quantum computing technologies to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Engage with prospective customers across Europe and identify opportunities within targeted industries.
Understand customer challenges and translate complex technical capabilities into relevant business and application opportunities.
Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, including senior and executive-level decision-makers.
Support the commercial team throughout the sales process, from initial engagement through to contract discussions.
Work closely with sales, product and R&D teams to develop a deep understanding of the company's technology, products and roadmap.
Attend conferences, industry events and customer meetings across Europe.
Contribute to the ongoing development of go-to-market strategy, customer engagement processes and commercial activities.
