Job summary

Barrington James seeks a Technical Pre-Sales professional to join our expanding European commercial team. You will translate complex quantum computing concepts for technical and non-technical stakeholders, supporting customers from initial engagement through to technical discussions and commercial opportunities.

The role involves collaborating with sales, product and R&D, engaging with a range of industries across Europe and attending conferences and customer meetings to drive go-to-market

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Quantum Computing/related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience, ideally in private sector.
• Strong understanding of quantum computing fundamentals and ecosystem.
• Knowledge of quantum algorithms, ML, HPC or related technologies.
• Experience in a customer-facing technical role (Pre-Sales, Solutions Eng, etc.).
• Experience with external customers and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to explain complex concepts to varied audiences.
• Startup/scale-up experience is advantageous.
• Understanding of sales processes and commercial metrics.
• Fluent professional English is essential.

• Build relationships with customers and senior decision-makers.
