Job summary

DeepRec.ai in The Netherlands seeks a Quantum Applications Scientist to bridge advanced quantum hardware with researchers using it. This highly technical, customer-facing role combines quantum computing expertise, product demonstrations, and business development support across commercial, product, and engineering teams.

You will engage leading research groups, run experiments, validate hardware against customer needs, present at conferences, and travel internationally to customer sites.

Qualifications

• PhD in Physics/Quantum Computing or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with experimental quantum computing systems, esp. qubit control/readout.
• Experience operating and troubleshooting lab setups with RF, microwave, cryogenic, and electronic instrumentation.
• Strong Python programming for automation, control, and data analysis.
• Excellent communication to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Strong problem-solving and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities
