As a Project Manager, your mission is to coordinate internal efforts and customer expectations to successfully deliver software implementation projects for leading shipyards worldwide. You will play a key role in ensuring our customers achieve shorter lead times, reduced risks, optimized resource utilization, and higher production efficiency through the successful adoption of our MES software solution: Floor2Plan.

What You’ll Do
- Lead Projects: Plan, establish, and manage a portfolio of IT projects from initiation and project proposal, to completion, with their corresponding documentation.
- Requirements analysis coordination: Facilitate the analysis and validation of customer requirements alongside the Business Analyst, Consultants, and Development Team. Ensure requirements are understood, documented, estimated, prioritized, and formally agreed upon by all stakeholders to minimize ambiguity and scope misunderstandings.
- Project Definition & Governance: Create and maintain clear project governance documentation, including Project Charters, Project Initiation Documents (PIDs), scope definitions, assumptions, risks, dependencies, and decision logs. Ensure all stakeholders share a common understanding of project objectives, responsibilities, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Meet and Coordinate with the clients: Work closely with your portfolio of clients as their first point of contact. Meet their internal needs, plan kick-off and follow-up weekly alignment meetings, and ensure communication is frequent, clear, and effective.
- Coordinate with Internal Teams: Work closely with the international software development team to meet the clients' requests. Maintain clear communication and foster a cooperative team environment.
- Change Request Management: Manage the upcoming Change Requests across internal and external stakeholders, with the corresponding documentation.
- Apply Lean Practices: Incorporate Lean methodologies to streamline processes and eliminate inefficiencies. Promote a continuous improvement culture within client operations.
- PM Processes Input & Design: Provide your input in the team-effort design and redesign of PM processes to ensure smooth and effective work.
- Client Traveling: Travel within your assigned area to meet client´ shipyards. Occasionally, travel internationally.
Your Profile
- Proven experience in Project Management, at minimum 5 years of experience.
- Previous experience in an IT/software development environment.
- Previous experience in the Shipbuilding sector is a plus.
- Experience with ERP, PLM, and planning software such as IFS, AVEVA, Teamcenter, Cadmatic, Primavera, or Microsoft Project is a plus.
- Knowledge of LEAN practices is a plus.
- Knowledge of PRINCE2 Methodologies is a plus.
- Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering, IT, shipbuilding, industrial engineering or similar
- EU passport (from a NATO country)
