Job summary

ALTEN is seeking an experienced MES Project Manager to lead large-scale digital transformation projects in industrial environments. You will drive MES implementation and rollout, coordinating stakeholders across business, IT, engineering and operations to deliver on scope, time and quality.

The role requires strong MES/MOM experience, plus a solid understanding of ERP/PLM integrations, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex setting.

Job description

As part of our growing team, we are looking for an experienced MES Project Manager to join us and contribute to large-scale digital transformation projects within complex industrial environments. You will play a key role in driving the implementation and rollout of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) while coordinating multiple stakeholders and ensuring successful project delivery.

As a MES Project Manager, your main tasks will include:

• Defining and managing project plans, roadmaps, and deployment strategies for MES implementations
• Coordinating stakeholders across business, IT, engineering, and operational teams
• Driving the rollout of Manufacturing Execution Systems within complex industrial environments
• Ensuring alignment between MES, ERP, and PLM solutions to support end-to-end business processes
• Identifying project risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies
• Monitoring project progress and ensuring delivery against scope, timeline, and quality objectives
• Facilitating communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and digital manufacturing transformation programs

Your Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree (HBO/WO) in Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in industrial or manufacturing environments
• Strong experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and/or Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) solutions
• Experience integrating MES platforms with ERP and PLM systems
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and digital transformation initiatives
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in complex project environments
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented mindset
• Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written)
• Experience within a high-tech industrial environment is highly desirable
