Job summary

Qualifications

Job description

This position is open for our office in Eindhoven, Capelle a/d IJssel and Apeldoorn.

We are seeking an experienced System Architect with 7 to 12+ years of expertise in system architecture, including hands-on experience in technical leadership or architecture roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Architecture Design: Develop and maintain functional, logical, and physical architectures for complex systems, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.
• Requirements Management: Allocate and trace system requirements, ensuring consistency and completeness across all levels of design.
• Interface Definition: Define and document system interfaces, ensuring seamless integration between subsystems and external components.
• Trade-off Analysis: Evaluate architectural alternatives, perform trade studies, and recommend optimal solutions based on technical, cost, and performance criteria.
• Technical Leadership: Provide guidance to engineering teams, mentor junior architects, and collaborate with stakeholders to align architecture with project goals.
• MBSE Implementation: Utilize Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies to model, simulate, and validate system designs.

Your Profile

• Experience: 7 to 12+ years in system architecture, technical leadership, or related roles.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SysML and modeling tools such as Cameo/MagicDraw, Capella, or Enterprise Architect.
• Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, Polarion).
• Strong background in MBSE and system modeling.
• Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of system engineering principles, including requirements allocation, interface definition, and trade-off analysis.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead technical discussions, drive architectural decisions, and mentor cross-functional teams.
