Job summary

ALTEN Nederland is seeking an experienced Project Lead / Product Owner to drive the development of high‑tech systems in Eindhoven. You will work with engineering teams, stakeholders, and customers to define product strategy, manage deliverables, and ensure successful execution of complex development projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Project Lead, Technical Project Manager, Program Manager, or similar role.
• Proven experience leading complex technical development projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the product roadmap, backlog, and priorities.
• Translate business needs and customer requirements into clear technical objectives.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams consisting of software, mechanical, electrical, systems, and test engineers.
• Manage project scope, planning, risks, budget, and delivery milestones.
• Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure alignment between stakeholders, development teams, and management.
• Monitor project performance and address risks and impediments.
• Coordinate product releases and lifecycle management.
• Drive decision-making based on business value, technical feasibility, and customer impact.
• Prepare and present project status, risks, and roadmap updates to senior stakeholders.

We are looking for an experienced Project Lead / Product Owner to drive the development of systems within a fast-paced high-tech environment. You will work closely with engineering teams, stakeholders, and customers to define product strategy, manage deliverables, and ensure successful execution of complex development projects.

This position is ideal for someone who combines strong project leadership skills with a product-oriented mindset and has experience operating in highly technical environments such as semiconductor equipment, mechatronics, embedded systems, or industrial automation.

The role

Your profile

• Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent English communication skills.
