Job summary

Neways Electronics International Nv is seeking a Production Planner to coordinate production orders and optimize scheduling in a technical production environment. You will act as the first-line logistics contact within the production departments, aiming to improve delivery performance and provide accurate information to stakeholders.

You will complete an MBO or HBO degree in Logistics or a related field. Starters are welcome to apply, and Dutch and English communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• MBO or HBO degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or (Technical) Business Administration.
• Experience in a similar role is a plus.
• Strong communication and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line logistics support to the production department.
• Follow up on logistics actions and perform administrative tasks.
• Join the daily management meeting to discuss planning and results.
• Maintain oversight of orders, focusing on day planning and backlog.
• Work with the Production Planning Coordinator on 5-day planning.
• Contribute to improvement teams for structural improvements and implementation.
• Act as first point of contact for logistics questions from production.
• Ensure careful and timely execution of related administrative actions.
• Proactively identify bottlenecks and contribute to solutions.
• Coordinate and communicate escalation issues.
• Propose improvements to optimize planning and team performance.
