Job summary

Olenex in Rotterdam is seeking a Production (Multisite) Planner to review and prioritize open sales orders and forecasts against production capacities and schedules. The role is mainly based in Vondelingenplaat, with occasional workdays in Zaandam or Rotterdam.

You will translate customer demands into production planning, manage raw materials and packaging stock, and coordinate with Production, Customer Service and Logistics to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on, problem-solving approach to work.
• Bachelor degree or equivalent in logistics or related field.
• Commercial abilities and understanding.
• Proficient in English and Dutch (verbal & written); German a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office and planning software.
• Strong communication across all levels and departments.

Responsibilities

• Daily quantity control and plan stock movements of materials and oils.
• Collaborate with Customer Service and Logistics to resolve supply and delivery issues.
• Provide clear updates about supply chain status to production teams.

We're hiring: Production Planner in Rotterdam!

As our new Production (Multisite) Planner, you review and prioritize open sales orders and forecasts against production capacities and schedules. This role is mainly based in Vondelingenplaat, with occasional workdays in Zaandam or Rotterdam.

In this role, you help keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently every day!

Outlook of your responsibilities:

• Compile data and translate customer demands into production planning, with input from cross-department teams including Production, Customer Service, Inbound/Outbound logistics and PLM
• Daily quantity control and plan stock movements of raw materials, intermediate products a/o packed and bulk oils, packaging materials and by-products with optimized storage utilization
• Work closely with Customer Service and Logistics team to resolve product supply and delivery issues
• Clear updates about supply chain status to production team
• Create and publish optimal daily schedule and instructions for production
• Coordinate the production capacity of the plant with production management, adjust planned quantities and priorities accordingly
